Welcome to Phoenix Foundation
Phoenix Foundation is a unique homeless charity with a long-term initiative. It is our aim to eradicate homelessness in the Liverpool City Region.
We were established in 2019, in response to an urgent need for housing for men experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness in the Liverpool City Region.
2020 and the covid-19 pandemic brought many challenges. On 17th July 2020 we moved to our new building at 157 Duke Street, with a new name, a long term plan to support our residents in rebuilding their lives, and a goal of eradicating homelessness in Liverpool and the wider region.
In September 2020, Phoenix Foundation was officially confirmed by the Charity Commission as registered charity number 1185418.
Rising from the ashes, a phoenix represents transformation. It is the ultimate symbol of strength and courage.
All our residents at Phoenix Foundation want to transform their lives. We are here to support them. The name perfectly reflects their journey as they rebuild their lives and return to living independently.
It also reflects the transformation of our charity in a year filled with challenges and uncertainty.
Come on in to find out more about our charity, our residents, and how you can get involved and help people experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives.
We are stronger when we all support each other, and work together.
